This anatomically correct human foot model is MADE FROM PLA (PLASTIC) USING a 3D PRINTER. 2.85 mm filament is used to hold the bones together and PROVIDE MOVEMENT. The filament allows some movement between bones, but excessive pressure or repeated movements can weaken and break the filament. This model is designed for display, study, or light use, but will not withstand rough classroom use. Some knowledge of anatomy is helpful but not necessary. No matter what, you'll be an expert when you're done! Every attempt has been made to maintain anatomical accuracy with the following exceptions. The sesamoid bones are fused to the first metatarsal, and the proximal bones are fused to each other.
